Ruishan Liu will join USC as an assistant professor of computer science in January 2024. She completed her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University in 2022 and is primarily interested in machine learning for healthcare and biomedicine. Liu is currently a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford in the Department of Biomedical Data Science. She was a recipient of Rising Star in Data Science, Rising Star in Engineering in Health, Next Generation in Biomedicine, and finalist for the Reuters Events Global Pharma Awards.
