At the behest of our donor, and in accordance with the terms of our endowment, the WiSE Program provides grants to faculty, PhD students, postdoctoral scholars, and undergraduate students in WiSE-eligible departments, which include the departments of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, Astronautical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Industrial and Systems Engineering in the Viterbi School of Engineering and the departments of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Mathematics, and Physics & Astronomy. All members of the University community are invited to our programs and events.

The WiSE Program is led by Director, Prof. Leana Golubchik, and Program Manager, Mallory Redel, who seek recommendations from an Advisory Board comprised of faculty members from the Viterbi School of Engineering and the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, as well as committees in both schools.
