🎤 Talk: Population Genomics and Illegal Trade of Critically Endangered Asian Pangolins

Pangolins are the most trafficked mammal in the world, yet much of their basic biology and ecology is unknown, which greatly hinders efforts to conserve them. This work attempts to use DNA-based methods on seized pangolin materials to answer population, trade, and evolutionary questions of Asian pangolins in order to facilitate efforts to combat their illegal trade and conserve the animal.
