The WiSE Program accepts applications for grants to support the activities of organizations that benefit students, postdoctoral scholars, and faculty in the Viterbi School of Engineering and in the five WiSE-eligible department of the USC Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences. The objectives of these grants must compliment the mission of the WiSE Program to increase the representation of women in the sciences and engineering within the academy. Awards are granted on a case by case basis and are evaluated annually. Organizations may apply once per year and are not guaranteed renewal. Some examples of prior recipients of WiSE grants have included Women in Computer Science, Women in Math, and EE PhD Women. By providing matching grants to organizations and activities that aim to advance women scientists and engineers, WiSE hopes to strengthen the University’s commitment to diversifying the academy.
