I got my B.S. (1992) and Ph.D. (1996) degrees from the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". After a postdoc at Xerox PARC, I started my career as a researcher in the Italian National Research Council in 1998. I joined USC in 2013 as a research faculty and switched to a tenure track in 2018, was tenured in 2020 and promoted to full Professor in 2022. My research focuses on computational studies of the physicochemical properties of materials and molecules, with impact in nanotechnologies and health sciences.
