Mengjie is Ambassador of the Optical Society (Optica), associate editor of npj nanophotonics and advanced photonics and guest editor of photonic research, JOSA B and optical material express. She received DARPA young faculty award 2023, Maiman and Emil Wolf awards. She serves as subcommittee of CLEO, OFC, FiO, ACP international optical conferences.
