🎤 Melissa Banks, PhD Student in Biomedical Engineering
Talk: Wearable Sensors for Women’s Health

Melissa Banks is a 1st year PhD student in Biomedical Engineering under the advisement of Dr. Maral Mousavi. Melissa has a B.S. in Dietetics with an emphasis in nutritional biochemistry from the University of Kentucky, a B.S. in biomedical mechanical engineering and an M.S. in biomedical engineering from the University of Southern California, where she is currently pursuing her PhD in the laboratory for the design of medical and analytical devices. Her research is focused on point of care diagnostic devices for women’s health.
